Nicola from Prestige Events venues and events came in to see us recently. Prestige Venues & Events are the collection of 50 unique venues across the UK that Sodexo cater at and can be booked for corporate events. They also offer Corporate Hospitality packages at events such as Ascot, RHS Chelsea & Hampton Court Palace Shows etc
Nicola came along with her colleagues Nora from Bateaux London & Katy from Knebworth House who gave us an update on their venues.
Bateaux London offers scheduled lunch, dinner and afternoon tea cruises, in addition to private event packages for corporate events. They have 2 boats – the Symphony which is glass sided and provides 360 degree view of London with a fully turfed deck space ideal for those Summer parties and BBQ’s. Their newest boat the Harmony boasts open air observation deck of over 250 square metres – the largest on the Thames which is a sure way to wow your guests as you cruise past London’s famous landmarks!

Both boats also offer private dining rooms/areas which means that for a smaller corporate event you don’t have the expense of hiring the boat exclusively but can still enjoy the Thames dining experience.
Knebworth House is located 28 miles north of London in Hertfordshire and is over 500 years old. As well as hiring the House for corporate events there is the alternative of Knebworth Barns which consist of two 400 year old Tithe Barns seating up to 200 people. A recent addition are the Cobbold and Lytton Barns which can be used alongside the other barns as breakout areas or as a standalone venue (these also have their own private garden area and direct access to Knebworth formal Gardens) The Park area is known for hosting live concerts such as Robbie Williams, Rolling Stones but they also have smaller areas which can be used for family days, team building etc

We also spoke about the Emirates Aviation Experience in North Greenwich, a unique venue which you can hire for a corporate event exclusively giving full access to a modern exhibition which explores the world of 21st century aviation and gives an insight into the running of a modern airline. It can be hired for up to 80 people for a drinks reception and your guests can take the opportunity to have a flight on one of their state of the art A380 and B777 simulators.
