Feel like a royal at the two Red Carnation Hotels closest to Buckingham Palace
Hotel 41 is a five-star intimate private hideaway in the heart of London, opposite the Royal Mews and was voted ‘No.1 in ‘Top Hotel in London’ & ‘Top Hotel in Europe’ at the World Best Awards 2016.
There are 30 rooms, all with savior beds for that extra comfy night’s sleep. The bedrooms décor reflects that of the rest of the hotel; a chic black & white design with mahogany furnishings.
This property has two staff to every guest as well as a personal butler service. You will never leave this property hungry with complimentary treats on offer, choose from fruit, crisps, scones and ice cream tubs during the day with cheeses, pies, meats and desserts available until 1am!
There is a 2AA Rosette restaurant ‘The Library,’ but if you fancy something a little different adjacent to the Hotel is it’s sister property ‘Rubens’ with it’s BBar & Restaurant and Leopard Champagne Bar.
You will find Rubens opposite the Royal Mews of Buckingham Palace. It is the larger of the Red Carnation London 4 star hotels with 143 bedrooms, 8 royal rooms, 10 suites and 2 self-contained apartments. The style of this property is traditional and elegant but it is still complete with all the modern amenities. There are 9 meeting rooms, with capacities ranging from 12 Boardroom up to 130 Reception.
There are two restaurants, two bars and an award winning Afternoon Tea in the Palace Lounge. The Library Restaurant (2AA Rosette) or for a less formal affair the Old Masters offers a Carvery and Grill selection. The Leopard Champagne bar is far more understated than the Montague’s featuring minimal leopard print accents and classic jazz music.
BBar is a South African themed bar and restaurant with the decor including ethnic carvings and Zebrano wooden table tops. The international menu has a strong South African accent; springbok fillet being one of the options.
This cosy club-like venue is available exclusively for corporate events for up to 70.
