The Charles Hotel, Munich

The Charles Hotel, Munich is part of RF Hotels and is located at the edge of the famous museum quarter and overlooks the Old Botanical Gardens. The Hotel is easily accessible and is just a 5 minutes’ walk from the central station and 35 minutes’ drive from the airport.

The Charles Hotel has 8 conference and banqueting rooms – the largest, the Ballroom, can accommodate up to 220 theatre style. Then there are the 7 smaller rooms taking between 45-65 theatre style in each. There are 136 bedrooms and 24 suites and the Hotel also has a spa with a 15m pool, sauna and steam room, 5 treatment rooms and gym.

Maritim Hotel München

The Maritim Hotel is an excellent conference hotel and is located close to Munich’s main railway station. There are 349 bedrooms and 9 conference rooms with the largest ‘Maritim Hall’ accommodating up to 505 delegates theatre style.

Recent Hotel openings in Munich include the Rosewood Hotel which opened its doors in 2023. It is the seventh property of the US luxury hotel group in Europe.

The Koenigshof, a Marriott Luxury Collection Hotel, in Munich is due to open in mid-2024 with 106 rooms and suites and just 2 smaller event rooms.

Did you know? The English Garden in Munich is one of the largest inner-city parks in the world and is larger than Central Park in New York! It has a surface area spanning 640 football pitches!

Munich will be in the spotlight later this year as one of the host cities for Euros 2024. This is the first time the Euros will be held in Germany since 1988.

The tournament kicks off in Munich on 14 June with Germany playing Scotland and the final will be played in Berlin’s Olympic Stadium on 14 July 2024. Who will be there??!!
